♦►Thyphoon Ondoy Aftermath◄♦
Last September 25, 2009, the big island of Luzon in the Philippines was devastated by typhoon Ondoy--killing hundreds of lives and leaving thousands of Filipinos in evacuation camps. Not even a week after typhoon ondoy left the country, another typhoon named Pepeng struck northern and western Luzon also destroying many homes and livelihoods of many, if not all Filipinos in those said part of the
It is all about CLIMATE CHANGE. The warmer earth gets, the greater evaporation occurs from the ocean,etc... evaporation from the ocean creates thick and heavy vapors and are collected and concentrated as thick and heavy clouds...
What causes it to spin? The cold air above and the warm air below collides--causing it to spin--also causing thunders and lightnings... the heavy and thick vapors it carries drops--causing the rainfall.
Let me cut this short and let you do the research... SUCH calamities are caused by Climate Change which is caused by Global Warming which is caused by US. (no, not
What was very disheartening was when other people call these mentioned calamities as "Act of God".. ie. insurance companies will not cover your car's damages unless it is under the term that covers "Act of God" incidents. I know that such are just a misstatement with the terminologies used by insurance companies but honestly, some people take it literally. How could we blame God for our mistake?!! ... Isn't this with no doubt an "Act of Man"?!!!
And for the penniless, there’s the challenge of appeasing immediate needs like hunger and a getting a roof over one’s head. You’d certainly feel powerless by the sheer number of those needing help, while the pessimist in you questions how far three cans of sardines, five packs of noodles and two bottles of mineral water will go.
The past two days people have been lining up at the gas stations and ATMS. The shelves at the grocery store are being emptied and people are preparing for the possibility of another storm later this week. They are cautious and not wanting to be caught off guard once again. But if you ask most Filipinos “how is your place?” they will smile and say, “ok na, such is life.” The resilience of these people is amazing, however, the looks of shock and hopelessness tell you what most are feeling beneath the surface. Please pray that God’s spirit of peace descends upon the city
The Aftermath of Typhoon Ondoy (Philippines)
I’ll be writing below some of the things I think was affected by this typhoon:
Spirituality
I would say that this is the first thing that is affected by this disaster. Every disaster that happens to human is a test of his faith in the spirituality he stand on. For some, they would rather curse God for what happened. Can we really blame God? Well, I cannot blame others who blames God…most peple blame God if they cannot blame anyone with the bad things that are happening to them. But in my personal experience, although I haven’t experienced having a loved one died in a tragic event and I’m not even hoping, I believe that most tragic event in our lives are caused by people too. On the contrary, tragedies like this does reminds us of God and we can either strenghten our faith in Him or curse Him and die.Attitude
said that there are a lot of sinners in our country that is why this happened (attached picture). What she forgot was that there were also children who were affected by the flood, and worst was children who did not survive. Yesterday, in the clean up operation they have discovered a child covered with mud, cold dead. Can you really say that things like this happens only to sinners? Did God break His promise not to wipe out human beings with flood because of their sins? I don’t think so. But tragedies like this can change attitudes. It can make you or break you! Attitude, in the first place, is how you look at something or someone. If you have a positive outlook in life then probably you will have a positive and optimistic attitude on this. However, if you have a negative outlook in life then you will be like this lady who just cursed everyone in the Philippines.
Government\
With the 2010 Election coming, a tragedy like this that happened in the middle of the election circus can be an opportnity for most officials running for presidency to show people how much they “care”…that is if they really care. Take for example the photo here that has a small note that says: “Tulong galing kay…” (”Help from…”). Well, if you really want to help do you really need to announce to everyone that you are helping? Did not Christ said not to let your right hand know what your left hand is doing. For God rewards OPENLY those who does good things in SECRET. Don’t get me wrong. Before Noynoy Aquino announced that he will run for president in the 2010 election I was going to vote for Manny Villar. I am not against Manny Villar…I am against those politicians who are using tragedies like this for their own benefits. When will they stop using the Filipinos for their own benefit that they may consume them with their lust.

i am an ordinary person appointed by God to make a book for the end time in reviving the prophecy of blessed virgin mary in 1917 about the battering of earth before 2009. i sent the books to pres. gma, noynoy aquino and gretchen b but they all didnt heed. as long as they will not allow me to speak publicly then more curse to come in the philippines, manila will surely sink soon.
